Dr. Alexander Stocker holds a diploma and a doctorate in business administration from the University of Graz (2010) with a focus on business informatics. He is a key researcher for contextual information systems and management at the Virtual Vehicle Research Center in Graz, Austria. Prior to the Virtual Vehicle Research Center he was key researcher at the DIGITAL Institute of JOANNEUM RESEARCH, Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Know-Center, Austria's competence center for knowledge management, and consultant for information management and technology at Datev in Nuremberg.

Alexander has successfully participated in and coordinated work packages and tasks in a number of EU-funded, nationally funded and nonfunded projects, including AEGIS, EVOLVE, SCOTT, FACTS4WORKERS, SCIENCE2SOCIETY, SEMI40, IDEV40, GE:Engineering and GENDrive. He has more than 15 years of professional experience and published more than 100 publications.
